In January 2013, reality-tv star Spencer Pratt from the United States lost his mobile phone on the way to taping Celebrity Big Brother in London. Soon, however, someone began Tweeting from his account. That mysterious Tweeter claimed to be an obscure British poet. Later dubbed @tempspence, the poet spent three weeks playing surrealist and Oulipo writing games with @spencerpratt’s followers.
In those three weeks, a group of poets began to play regularly with TempSpence. Calling themselves the TempSpence Poets, they now collectively run the @tempspence Twitter account.
During ELO Paris and the week leading up to it, we are playing a Twitter performance or netprov in which @tempspence goes to Paris following Una his love and encounters a poetry group: The Ouvroir de littérature sans potentielle (OuliSpo) who teach him poetry games without potential for greatness that he will play over the @tempspence and @spencerpratt accounts.
